Saturday, December 31, 2011. I have decided not to pursue any treatments for a couple different reasons but mostly because I don't think I could handle it working and then my hair falling out again. So that's the update. We're still in a waiting period right now and it sounds like we will be for quite awhile. No matter what happens, I have complete trust in the Lord and I have total peace about my future even if my future doesn't include hair! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Tuesday, September 10, 2013. I am taking comfort in this fact today. Nothing will take away that fact that I am the daughter of God. I might not have hair, but I will always belong to God. That brings me such peace and comfort. Monday, September 2, 2013. I did it. It's gone. Today I start my life without hair. September is Alopecia awareness month. I really didn't plan on shaving my head for September, but I think it's kind of cool it happened that way. What a great way to celebrate September!

Find someone who is gone through or going through this process to hold you accountable, motivate you, and push you.
