Living in Love: Surrender
http://andrewmelissalivinginlove.blogspot.com/2013/01/surrender.html
Thursday, January 3, 2013. As I look back on the year 2012, I am truly grateful. I learned more about myself and who I am - and who I CAN be - than ever before. I got more clarity on the Lord's heart and started seeing my heart truly change to be more aligned with His. I really feel as though I ended 2012 a thousand miles away from where I started. And yet. I'm GLAD it 2012 is over! I trust God more than I ever have in my life. I know a lot about Spiritual warfare. Ha. I TEACH on Spiritual warfar...It's ...

Living in Love: December 2013
http://andrewmelissalivinginlove.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 13, 2013. Send Them to School! To GIVE click HERE. This past August, Andrew and I had to chance to meet and get to know three wonderful children who live in extreme poverty. We found out that the middle daughter, Cindy, was turning 15 the following day and realized that the family would never be able to celebrate her Quinceanera. A VERY important coming-of-age celebration in Guatemala (and many other countries). If you could have seen her …. You would have know you were looking at a girl...

Wake Up and Smell the Music: September 2008
http://devdevwatkins.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wake Up and Smell the Music. Thursday, September 11, 2008. Yes, another day. its amazing how time flies.Madilyn is almost 2 months old! As she sleeps in her swing, I'm stealing away for a few minutes.to eat leftover falafel and jot down a few thoughts. I can't believe how tired I was today.I felt like I could sleep and sleep.and the strange thing is that last night Madi slept for about 6 hours straight (although she didn't go to sleep until 2am.). I didn't want to go to class! Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Wake Up and Smell the Music: November 2008
http://devdevwatkins.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wake Up and Smell the Music. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I can't even remember the date now.but Madilyn was probably around a couple weeks old. Let's just say it was somewhere in late July. But why would they need to open the huge garage door for that? We have a side door. All these thoughts went through my mind in a matter of a second. I rushed into the bedroom and asked, "Robbie, did you tell Heather she could park in the garage? He said, "no, why? I heard a helicopter, and I imagined a fugitive on the...

Wake Up and Smell the Music: February 2009
http://devdevwatkins.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wake Up and Smell the Music. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Its so crazy how having a baby changes things. I really can't believe how just having Madilyn in my life has made me see life so differently. I was recently watching an episode of "17 Kids and Counting" (reality show following the Duggar family.they have 18 kids! They were on a mission trip to El Salvador, visiting poor families, taking them food and Christmas gifts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Another Day in Paradise.

Wake Up and Smell the Music: August 2008
http://devdevwatkins.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wake Up and Smell the Music. Monday, August 25, 2008. I love my job! Believe it or not, I kind of like mowing the lawn). But nothing I did could really prepare me for actually having the baby here, in my arms, in my life, until she was here! Something just clicked when she came into the world, and I just started taking care of her without thinking too hard about it, and it worked! I'll admit, I feel so much like "I have no idea what the heck I'm doing! And ironically as I type here. motherhood calls ...

Wake Up and Smell the Music: Mleh
http://devdevwatkins.blogspot.com/2010/08/mleh.html
Wake Up and Smell the Music. Friday, August 6, 2010. They backed right into him and didn't hear him, so he had to yell for them to stop! Luckily he was able to stay on the bike and didn't get run over.God was watching out for him for sure. All that was damaged was the front fender of the bike, which he was able to pull off and strap to his backpack for the ride home. I was so angry that this lady did this to him, and didn't, in his words, seem very apologetic! August 8, 2010 at 8:07 AM. Picture Window tem...

Living in Love: the bible and junk food
http://andrewmelissalivinginlove.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-bible-and-junk-food.html
Wednesday, March 6, 2013. The bible and junk food. I'm reading in Proverbs today - and I was struck by something. In Proverbs 5, it talks about the "seductive woman.". I've read about her before. It's basically, she lures you in, and you end up paying the price. But, well. I'm not really bothered by seductive women so I asked God - kind of in passing - what else this proverb could be talking about. And I was floored. I think you could apply this Proverb to many temptations - perhaps ANY temptation. She&#...

Living in Love: Getting a Puppy and Breaking my Back
http://andrewmelissalivinginlove.blogspot.com/2015/02/getting-puppy-and-breaking-my-back.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Getting a Puppy and Breaking my Back. In the beginning of December, Andrew and I decided to get a puppy. We got a puppy because we are such dog people -we just LOVE dogs. Can't get enough of them. We love the idea of training them and all that. Um… no. not really. I've always been a nice cat person. We found a little mutt in the room with the bigger dogs who was being looked over. He was kind of cute in the 'discarded' since and when I held him something magical happened...
