I was sitting at a table at the window when I heard a man making a call to 911 about a woman sitting on a chair out front. She's a neighborhood regular (homeless? Woman who the coffee house gives coffee to each morning. She was taken away by ambulance. Using the small camera because of the threat of rain.

Liz - the quilter. Friday, July 3, 2015. When using batiks with the seam allowances turned under, she uses Invisifil, wt. 100 on top and Bottom Line in the bobbin. She uses a Microtex 60/8 or 70/10. She does not use stabilizer but loosens the tension. To prepare applique for fusible applique, she draws the pattern on the shine side and uses a glue pencil and 2 metal sticks. The Tea Garden at Inky Dinky Oinkink. Thursday, May 10, 2012. This past winter 2011-12 and new beginnings. Another winter has gone. I tried to devise a way to make winter a little more pleasant and so I put a lounge chair in the greenhouse .instant solarium! Not a bad idea all in all! I spent a good part of this past winter in my studio .making "les filles de joie" or may we say "pigs of dubious reputation? The Tea Garden will have its opening on Thursday, July 7th. Clubs, organizations, parties etc.
