The journey begins: June 2014
http://carrieblairsjourney.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 26, 2014. Sanibel days are the best! We have been going to Sanibel Island for vacation for 3 years now, several friends had recommended it and we just love it! It's a non-commercialized but totally tourist-friendly place that makes you feel like you're in another country instead of Florida. The sunsets are amazing, the shells are abundant (although I thought less so this year than last), the people are friendly - perfect family place! Sunday, June 22, 2014. Grant is 2 months old! It's hard...

three boys and a thousand hills: March 2011
http://threeboysandathousandhills.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Where the sun sets as I sip sweet tea, and the fireflies are as close as it gets to street lamps. Peace and quiet.ahhh.except for the sounds of the three animals- eh-hem, boys- running wild. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. The thing about photography is. That it affords me opportunities I would not otherwise have. To be a part of something special. Say, to witness a marriage I might not otherwise see. To hold a baby I might not otherwise meet. To help cherish a time that is fleeting. Like a two-year old laugh.

Monday, May 23, 2011. Living next door to history. I'm sort of a history nerd. So when I got an e-mail about shooting on-location at Whitehall, I felt pretty privileged. But it was more than just taking pictures of a family at a historic site. And, now they live here on the grounds with these two lovely kiddos. I had...

http://flossiespharm.blogspot.com/2014/06/garden-update.html
Life On Flossie's Pharm. No, Flossie Is Not My Real Name. Photo by Liz Thomas Photography. Monday, June 23, 2014. Time for a garden update! My carrots are coming along.I might actually get to eat some this year! My cherry tomato plant is covered. Sam and Sydney are going to be thrilled. No big tomatoes yet, but I've got a lot of blooms. My beans are getting there. They were a little big slow-going at first. I'm not sure if the tomatoes in front of them shaded them a bit too much or what, but they...I'm a...

Where the sun sets as I sip sweet tea, and the fireflies are as close as it gets to street lamps. Peace and quiet.ahhh.except for the sounds of the three animals- eh-hem, boys- running wild. Hi I'm Elizabeth, as most of my Alabama folks know me, and how I know me. Or Liz, as most of my Kentucky pals have nicknamed me. Or Lizzy, which is what only my dearest family members dubbed me and it makes me smile on the inside. Back to the point: Me. Compete with decorating magazines and blogs for my time. I l...

Where the sun sets as I sip sweet tea, and the fireflies are as close as it gets to street lamps. Peace and quiet.ahhh.except for the sounds of the three animals- eh-hem, boys- running wild. Monday, February 21, 2011. Strong to the finish. I was out at Old Navy last week and stumbled across a shirt for Liam. That reminded me of my dad. Who was, like Popeye, "strong to the finish". And I remember many days riding around with my dad in his little red chevy pickup;. And I remember him singing.
