Liz wINKs: Tour of My Literary Universe. Words Are Simply Ink Constellations. January 18, 2014. January 18, 2014. Hello fellow bloggers, Internet wanderers, and all those who somehow ended up on this page by mistake–or somehow on purpose. Those two headings were beyond unnecessary, but this is my blog and, eh, stuff happens. I’ll openly admit it: I took this class because a 405 course is mandatory for my Creative Writing major. No matter what, I was going to have to take a 405 class. Sometimes, if I̵...

Liz wINKs: Tour of My Literary Universe. Words Are Simply Ink Constellations. Blogging and Why I Suck At It. January 16, 2014. I suck at blogging. That is why I stated it in the title, so that you would be aware of what you would be getting into by continuing to read on. Aren’t you glad you got warned first? I’m considerate. I like to think of my audience as much as possible. But, for the sake of class, I must have a blog. So, here I am. Hello Greetings. Salutations. Maybe by the end, I’ll be like,...

Reader, writer, noodle enthusiast. Some thangs for your thangs. May 13, 2015. May 14, 2015. About once a month, I hear the scary danger theme song from The Sims in my head. You know, the one that plays when a burglar gets in? Talking about periods, y’all. The old menses. I know it’s supposed to be a fact of life that people with uteruses have periods, but I find myself asking, How is this still happening? It’s 2015. Why isn’t there an option to make this stop? I mean, I. What I’m getting at here is, beca...

Reader, writer, noodle enthusiast. April 7, 2014. April 17, 2014. I Needed A Good Book As A Kid. One series that I loved with all of my heart was. A Series of Unfortunate Events. Than I do, but more or less the problem was that, despite the wonderful worlds that books could offer me, the culture surrounding them was making it hard for me as a reader. We All Needed A Good Book. Completely fabricated. Sorry. Which books would have eased some of my confusion about liking boys. Too) where we will be posting ...

Ball State Student, Writer. Thinking of Grad School? About two weeks ago I went to a panel discussion about Graduate School programs in the English Department. It was put on by Ball State professors Joyce Huff (General Program), Megumi Hamada (TESOL/Linguistics), Robert Habich (Literature), Micheal Donnelly (Rhetoric and Composition), and Cathy Day (Creative Writing). There was a lot of information shared with me about each individual program and Graduate School as a whole. By Michelle Bagwell is helpful.

July 2015 – Brittany Means
https://brittanymeansit.wordpress.com/2015/07
Reader, writer, noodle enthusiast. The bread is done. It was delicious. Tonight, I was kneading some bread dough, and it was just such a simple and pleasant thing to be doing. All of a sudden, I was overwhelmed with this feeling, like my chest was swelling and I was dizzy. For no particular reason at all, I was struck by where I’ve been and where I am. I donked it up a little bit, but it’s still pretty tasty. July 13, 2015. July 13, 2015. The bread is done. It was delicious. Some thangs for your thangs.

Words: Ink Constellations
Tuesday, April 22, 2014. One project that we had to do this semester was write a book review and send it out to try and get it published. The book had to be either just newly published or in the pre-publication stage and by an author who could really benefit from a review as a source of "advertisement.". Basically, the book couldn't be the latest Stephen King novel. One suggestion made to us by our professor, Cathy Day. Was to go onto a site called Netgalley.com. By HW "Buzz" Bernard. For class, one of t...

lizwinter7 | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. It is no surprise that many of us feel unsure of trusting our inner instincts when we live in a world that is consistently encouraging us to look out and not in. It takes a conscious effort to shift our focus but when we do we will reap the rewards. If you are the sort of person who finds it difficult to meditate which many of us do, I suggest to do open-eyed meditations. How the heck was I supposed to do that? The secret is to ask.
