Our house has had a very bad case of Water Hammer recently- so whenever anyone turns on/off the hot taps there's a horrid noise. Fortunately the heating was okay- I don't work well in cold. The heating Engineer visited today and the solution is a valve being inserted into the pipework - seems we have a water pressure issue.

It was just the end of the scene which has been swirling around in my head each night as I'm going to sleep, and the fact I haven't been able to finish it (until today) was irritating me. Looking back, the last couple of years have been a big learning experience. I've found what works best for me and my life, so I'm making progress.
