Our flight got in late so by the time the boys picked out a rental car (they picked a black mustang) and found our hotel we crashed. We spent the first day walking and hanging out in downtown Chicago which can I say was absolutely AMAZING! Our last night at a cute park searching for fireflies. Our crazy, mixed-up, and sometimes messy Happily Ever After. Thursday, December 1, 2011. I was able to get everything that I wanted and then some, but I must say it was a way crazier experience in orem than it is in St. George. We were back in bed by three and then Ashlie and I shopped together the whole next day which was fantastic. No whinny kids, no whinny husband just good wholesome shopping, now I'm almost completely done with christmas shopping Yay! Chalyn and Myana were princesses all day.

These next few are from Utah Lake. Chalyn did her cute dance for the talent show and was still darling of course. Beckham helping Carvin with his talent. We played frisbee and volleyball at the park for a few hours which was super fun! Thursday, August 16, 2012. I was one proud mama! This is right before the parade when we dropped her off.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010. On Sunday we blessed Adalynn. Thank you for everyone that could come. Adalynn is a very lucky girl her great grandma Mickelson made her dress. Thursday, July 14, 2011. Sometimes, I feel like playing catch up is the story of my life! I'm trying. So back tracking to May. The 222 was once again activated to serve a tour in Iraq. So Brennen's dad is heading back there for awhile, possibly only. Until January but probably for 1 year. We went up on the mountain to have a last BBQ and fishing before he left. We took him to the rodeo on the 24th and he hasn't quit running around the house with a rope fastened tight against his body, wildly throwing himself all over the place, making ferocious sounds.all to imitate a bucking bull. Saturday, September 24, 2011. I thought I'd put some side by side pics of the boys to see how much they really look like each other. People are always commenting about them looking like each other. They either think they look a lot alike or absolutely nothing alike. Dav was definitely bigger than Dawson, at least up until this point. So here it is. Good times.I just smile and say, "He better learn to be tough! I hope this special bond they have right now will stay like this forever. He is a handful!

He still loves his brother! Saturday, October 23, 2010. Yes, we're still here! So much as been going on the last 3 months, I haven't had time to update the blog. But I have logic reasons! Reason #1 - The week before school started I got a call to be a long-term sub for a teacher who was having some medical problems. It was supposed to be the first 6 weeks of school possibly longer depending on the circumstances. I scrambled to get things ready and am still scrambling to get the hang of things! It is 3rd grade which is a great grade!

Then on Friday me and the kids went to St. George and colored eggs with all of the cousins. And on Saturday we headed to the hills by Enterprise to have a picnic and play.
