Monday, March 27, 2006. For the past 12 days, I've been down in New Orleans volunteering with the relief effort. It's pretty crazy that they still need relief down there, six months after the storm, but the city is still in awful shape. And I am tired as ever. I've been traveling all day. Time for bed! Wednesday, April 12, 2006. So, next fall, I'm leading an orientation group on blacksmithing! I'm so excited :) This past fall, we attempted to do it, but the teacher fell ill. The group joined up with the cardboard boat builders, and a good time was had by all. We'll be on camps this time, and there's another instructor as well, so nothing like that should happen. Currently, I'm workin' on a project, but I can't say what it is. Also, the audio essay from my New Orleans trip is online here.
