Laser pyrolysis system for the production of magnetic Fe based nanoparticles, essentially maghemite/magnetite iron oxides and Fe-C iron-carbon core-shell nanocomposites. Mit theoretischen und numerischen Methoden werden Grundlagen der Laser- und Plasmaphysik untersucht. Ein Schwerpunkt der aktuellen Forschung ist die Wechselwirkung von Hochleistungslasern mit Materie bei Laserintensitäten zwischen 10.
