Terby Knits & Does Other Stuff Too: Ranting and raving.
http://terbyknits.blogspot.com/2010/01/ranting-and-raving.html
Terby Knits and Does Other Stuff Too. To be determined as the whim strikes me, but mostly yet another waste of valuable server space. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. I uploaded photos to my computer last night, but ran out of steam before I wrote anything about them. The knitting can wait until later, however, as I have a rant. Yup, I'm playing the elitist and classist card here. I've been rambling here, and it's well past time for me to stop and get on with my day. Thanks for sticking with me. Im going to a...

Med Student Who Knits: happiness is....
http://medstudentwhoknits.blogspot.com/2007/08/happiness-is.html
Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Thursday, August 09, 2007. The cool breeze coming in through the open windows last night. The Tim Hortons about to open down the street. My car, still chugging away even though I'm driving 40-60miles daily. The cats running around the house during the witching hour. Medical school was a necessary evil to get to where I am now, and the jury is still out...

Med Student Who Knits: November 2004

Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Tuesday, November 30, 2004. The days after a "break" seem much longer; and thus I can't believe it's only Tuesday. Late in the evening of Tuesday, but still. If this doesn't work well (read: doesn't felt at all and looks awful) I'll chalk it up to experience and work quickly to make something else for the receipent. Posted by Kristen at 10:15 PM. Latel...

Med Student Who Knits: 52 Weeks
http://medstudentwhoknits.blogspot.com/2006/06/52-weeks.html
Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Sunday, June 04, 2006. My time on surgery is now 2/3 over and at this point in time it looks like the six weeks after that will be spent on a family practice rotation. This past week was memorable because one of the surgeons starts his one-day-a-week in the OR with ABBA; there is NOTHING like having "Mama Mia" stuck in my head all day long. I’ll pick o...

Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Friday, May 04, 2007. My last day of rotations, and by default my fourth year of medical school: done. Graduation: 28 days, 12 hours away. Me: exhausted. (and off to take a nap before I hit the road for the Berkshires - the workshop will be worth it, but without some sleep the drive will do me in.). Have a great weekend! Posted by Kristen at 8:11 PM.

Med Student Who Knits: eye candy Friday

Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Friday, May 25, 2007. The lilacs are just now blooming and leaving the windows open is an olfactory joy. Yesterday I had the pleasure of learning how to "jar dye" and the journey from vermillion to chartreuse was by way of eggplant and spruce. Three wheels in less than a year.who knew? Have a great weekend - wherever you are! Have a great weekend!

Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Wednesday, March 28, 2007. One spent one's childhood. Very) Long story (very) short, my parents bought a new house. I am buying the house I grew up in. It's been over 10 years since I've had my own cat and on Monday I had time to go to the local animal shelter and remedy that. Extra points for being creative and original.). Med Student Who Knits: April 2005

Med Student Who Knits. A 27 year old fourth year medical student who knits (and stories about what it takes to change from a med student into a physican). Thursday, April 28, 2005. Looks like an "undyed" spot is throughout the whole skien of brown sheep cotton fleece! Pictures at the same time! Posted by Kristen at 5:18 PM. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. I continued to knit, and this morning found myself looking down and my knitting in class; there was an undyed section in the same color of yarn! The sun pok...

http://secretgiftblog.blogspot.com/2005/12/9-days-left-shedirs-are-off-list.html
If I might be knitting you a present, GO AWAY. Seriously. Friday, December 16, 2005. 9 days left- the Shedirs are off the list. Because I was crazy. But, the good news is I'm almost done with The Hawk Will Never Die:. Just one more sleeve, and then the neckband- and I'm not going to run out of yarn either! Last night I made the last of the mimi-sweaters too:. And then finally, my Plan B on the marshmallow debacle. Almost resulted in a whole 'nother kind of debacle:. I baked you up some shit for Christmas!

SecretGiftBlog: Pattern? We don't need no stinkin' pattern.
http://secretgiftblog.blogspot.com/2005/12/pattern-we-dont-need-no-stinkin.html
If I might be knitting you a present, GO AWAY. Seriously. Thursday, December 01, 2005. We don't need no stinkin' pattern. OK See this maroon yarn (Lambs' Pride Bulky in Medieval Red, to be precise), posing seasonally with some cinnamon-scented pinecones? But that's ok, because I still need to figure out the pattern. I mean, it's a raglan, so that's easy enough, but I need opinions on this topic: Sweater body: Wide rib (4x2, probably) or plain stockinette? Oh well. That's why I went with the bulky yarn.
