Contributed by people in our community. Bridges of the Avon. The river Avon is a mere 20 miles long from it's source, up beyond The Avon Dam, to it's mouth, at Bantham. What it lacks in miles it certainly makes up for in bridges. Here are a few that Chris Sibley has photographed for you:. If anyone would like to contribute some more I'd be happy to post them here. Devon has a huge expanse of spectacular coastline and the South Hams has some of the best.

Loddiswell Congregational Church
Loddiswell Congregational Church is a growing fellowship of Christians, with a membership across generations. We are an independent church affiliated to the Congregational Federation. We provide a wide range of activities and also offer a variety of worship styles in our programme of regular Sunday morning services. Children and Youth Work. We are really pleased to offer a range of inclusive activities for children on alternate Sundays and also 'The Attic' Youth Group, which meets on Wednesdays.
Loddiswell Horticultural and Sports Society
Saturday 1st August 2015. What a great day! Gates will open at 12.00, and the barbeque and Tea Tent will be serving refreshments and lunches until late in the day. The official Opening of the Show by the President, will take place at 1.00pm and the afternoon will proceed with a swing! Over the years, the judges have come to expect some very high quality exhibits at Loddiswell, and we are frequently complemented about many of the classes.
