Monday, October 30, 2006. Well, just in time for Halloween, the snow is starting to fall, the wind is picking up, and it is getting COLD! I got my bulbs planted this afternoon, just in time! Spent time in my friend's classroom this morning. Only have one more student to interview. Would have talked with him today, but he was spending time in 'in-school' suspension for throwing a burrito in a girl's face at lunch last week. Ah.sometimes I'm really glad I'm not a classroom teacher anymore! Also worked on t...

http://greyhairedcoedagain.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 30, 2006. I thought I should explain about the connection that existed between me and my mother. During times that one of us was very ill, the other knew about it. I'm talking about times when we were separated by many, many miles. Here are a couple of examples:. After about 20 minutes, the connection was set up. The ham operater in the States had explained how it worked when my Dad answered the phone. I began by saying, "Hi, Dad. This is Sharon. How is Mom? It wasn't till we were back in th...

Saturday, September 30, 2006. Project Linus, Fourth Delivery. On Tuesday, I will deliver these six quilts for 'Project Linus'. That will make a total of 23 quilts. I have made for them. I am beginning to see the end of the fabric stash that has filled the shelves of my sewing room! I actually bought some new fabric to do more blankets! I found some really cute flannel with cowboys and horses on a light blue background. I got 6 yards, and will try to make at least 3 blankets/comforters with it. Need to at...

Grey-Haired Coed: April 2006
http://greyhairedcoedagain.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 30, 2006. Just an Old Sew and Sew. Has been a busy week for me and my sewing machine! I feel very fortunate that I have the skill and the equipment to do this type of work at home. I can set my own hours (sewed past midnight last night), have the TV on, and take a break whenever I want to. Not many jobs outside the home would have that kind of freedom! I don't make a fortune, but the money I do make really comes in handy for 'extras'. Posted by Sharon at 4/30/2006 09:45:00 AM. I met her fou...
