Life in the salty city. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Sophie was reunited for a party last weekend with Leo and Milo, her best friends from Miss Merr's. Look at those smiles! They have so much fun together! Saturday, October 25, 2014. Did you know that Utah is the rock hounding capital of the United States? Neither did I, until last weekend. We went on a camping trip and explored a new part of the state, in the west desert between I-15 and Nevada. It's fun to be given a hammer and told to pound away.

Life in the salty city. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Chickadee dee dee dee dee. We took the girls skiing at Snowbird this weekend (the beginner run is called Chickadee). Sophie took her first rides on the chairlift and Lucia did awesome learning to make some turns. Monday, January 19, 2015. The weather cooperated for our long weekend. It was in the 50s on Sunday, so we decided to check out the zoo in winter since we've only ever been in summer. Sunday, January 11, 2015. My New Years baby is seven!

Life in the salty city. Friday, August 29, 2014. Lucia has finished her first full week of first grade, and completed her very first spelling test. She did well on some pretty tough words - she only missed three out of 20 words: responsibility, shelter, and tickle. I think it's going to be a challenging year if this was the spelling list for week one! Sophie's pre-school was closed this week, so she got to spend a week at Miss Merr's.
