Liberty or Death' bicentenary edition. Monday, 3 August 2015. 3rd August 1815: Threshing Machine destroyed at Holbrook, Suffolk. Some time during Thursday 3rd August 1815, and in a portent of what was to come the following year, a Threshing Machine was destroyed at Holbrook in Suffolk. The machine was the property of a John Roper of Wilby, over 30 miles north of the village.
