Notes from Nobles: June 2011
http://davidandtraci.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation. If you are wondering about the title of this post, you must not watch Phineas and Ferb! It FINALLY feels like summer! How do you like the bathing beauties? Last week we participated in our 3rd annual subdivision garage sale. Last year I vowed I wouldn't do it again. Obviously I need to put it in writing! Bryce got so bored when he played out in the field. He played 2nd base a few times, pitched one inning of one game, playe...
Notes from Nobles: November 2011

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. The Many Faces of Bryce and Clark. The boys have had a lot of fun "dressing up" lately. Clark's class won the contest to earn 50 Paws for good behavior. As a result, they were able to have a pajama day and movie to celebrate. He was a little leary about wearing a robe to school b/c he was afraid kids would make fun of him. I guess his robe was a big hit! Of course, we celebrated Halloween too. Here is Darth Vader and a Clone Trooper ready for some CANDY! Spooky lives in a bowl...
Notes from Nobles: April 2011
http://davidandtraci.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. Let the Games Begin! Olympians from all over northwest Indiana gathered at Clark's preschool to compete in some rigorous sporting events! We had 5 teams that represented the 5 colors of the Olympic rings. I had the privilege of coaching the Blue team. Seeing my obvious lack of athletic prowess, Clark's teacher blessed me with really, really good kids! Aren't their shirts super cute too? A fellow competitor had enough and after a few drops of the egg he chucked it on the floor, t...

Notes from Nobles: October 2011

Tuesday, October 18, 2011. He also enjoyed playing goalie. The photo below shows him making a catch! Next year he will move up to U11- bigger field, older kids, greater challenges.. This is a shot of Bryce painting with a halved apple. It was a fun day for the kids! Next year we might venture to Ft. Wayne for the Johnny Appleseed festival. I went to it when I was in college and had a good time. I think the boys would enjoy it- -remind me to mark our calendar next fall! Sunday, October 16, 2011. Thanks K...
Notes from Nobles: July 2011
http://davidandtraci.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Happy 4th of July! I thought I should update the blog while it is still July since these photos are almost a month old! We bought a new camera and I've been having some technical difficulties that have prevented me from putting photos anywhere. I am still having editing issues, so the shots that make it on the blog are not necessarily the best shots- they are the ones that are horizontal and not upside down or sideways. Oh well! Eva took this shot of ouf family at the Lighthouse.
Notes from Nobles: Where Have I Been??
http://davidandtraci.blogspot.com/2012/05/where-have-i-been.html
Monday, May 14, 2012. Where Have I Been? It has been a LONG time since I've posted anything! In a nutshell, this is what's been going on. We had a great Christmas and I enjoyed helping in Clark's classroom for his party. January was cold, but not awful. The boys had awesome cars in the Awana Grand Prix and came home with a 1st place trophy for design (Clark and his green crayon) and 3rd place trophy for speed (Bryce). In April we celebrated dad's 70th birthday! The boys also participated in 80's Day at s...
Notes from Nobles: January 2014
http://davidandtraci.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 6, 2014. Wow, 2013 was NOT a good blogging year for me. I may (or may not) do a better job updating this in 2014. But, for now, here is my reading list for 2013. It wasn't a great reading year either! If I had to pick favorites from this list I would select the two books I read in December. They were both good. Happy reading. For Parents Only: Getting Inside the Head of Your Kid by Shaunti Feldhahn and Lisa Rice. Still Alice by Lisa Genova. Gone Girl by Jillian Flynn. Add this to your site.
