3D Artist Compositor Motion Graphics. Posted on January 22, 2011. These vehicles were made while I was at Big Rooster. At the time they were supposed to reflect where the car industry would be in 5 years. Oddly enough we were pretty close. The concept art for these vehicles was made by Jeff Dewitt and all modeling was done by me, with the task of UV layout handled by Tim Bowman and myself. For the gallery scroll down a bit. Survival of the Fittest. In my last post, I shared the long-overdue release of my old source files. From ns eclipse and ns veil. My biggest regret was not being able to provide more of a play-by-play commentary of how and why the map changed over the months of development. The Long Way Home. Is made up of many islands in the middle of a lagoon linked together via a large network of boats and bridges. The city layout has hardly changed in the last 500 years and is a maze of narrow winding streets, crisscrossed by busy water ways linking all areas of the city. The lack of pollution, noise and possible accidents from cars is an awesome experience which certainly makes the city a magical place to visit and enjoy. The crowning glory of Florence is the Basilica. Cathedral Square...

Top of the World. The perfect place for Level Designers to go shopping! A store which sells the essentials that so often litter all computer game levels, crates and barrels! The bane of computer game levels is the blob of cover to hide behind while waiting for the sad red screen splat to disappear and the predictable regeneration health bar mechanic to kick in. luckily for designers everywhere, crates and barrels can suit any environment and they never look out of place! Overlooking the city of Victoria ...
