Thursday, July 20, 2017. I needed a getaway. More than I realized. The past year of my life has been packed full with activities, demands and that ugly word I so despise - depression. At the end of last year, I informed Depression that she would not be making the transition into 2017 with me. And for the most part, she hasn't - although she still finds ways to sneak back in if I'm not watching out for her. This year was difference. Thanks to the persistence of my friend Carissa Yoder. God met me there.

Friday, July 24, 2015. The youth ministries at FFM has outgrown our facilities and we are needing to build. The church is launching a Seed Money Project - so we as a family have decided to design and sell T shirts as our way of helping raise funds… if you don't know us - we're a little crazy about those teens (Tim and I have been youth leaders at FFM for three years now.). Wednesday, March 18, 2015. I've been thinking about giants and Rahabs and wilderness living…. In our walk with God, we yearn for the day when we reach our destination. Our promised land. But, yet, I see in the modern church culture the same fear of giants the Israelites experienced. Our giants look different. They resemble giant corporations that spew hatred towards Christianity while promoting acceptance, love and world peace. But, boy, do we all love our Jesus. And then there’s Rahab.
