Last night, many of my friends who had cable were glued to their TV sets, watching the first televised Republican debate. There is so much wrong with this:. 1 The debate was scheduled fifteen months before the election. That the powers-that-be need to distract us so far out from Election Day cannot be good. Friday, April 10, 2015. Much riding was accomplished in the first part of 2015, more than last year, and building up the miles plus scheduling the mid-week jaunts with MORE is all helping. As Anne Lamott. Recently wrote, ' if you want to have a good life after you have grown a little less young, you must walk almost every day.' My addition is getting on the bike, as well as stretching with the yoga folks. And marvelous city. A few of these rides. As well as the commute. Keep movin'. And here's a goal.

Saturday, April 19, 2014. The Rules, according to Kolo T.C. The Rules kolo t.c. Of course, these rules are meant to complement those specified previously. 19 great miles from Marymoor over Newport Hill and into downtown Bellevue today on CTS #3. Those dry miles were followed unfortunately by a downpour, gusty winds and a schlep back over the 520 trail through Microsoft Land to the starting point. We combined with another Yellow Group. 694 miles YTD, with over 60 hours bike time. Links to this post.

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Finished the year with a 37 mile loop around Seattle, including visits to Golden Gardens, Magnolia Bluff and Leschi, all of which were dominated by the clear, cold, dry weather and views of Rainier. During the year, I rode more times than the previous year, as well as more miles (about 2,750), 117K ft. elevation gain and 12.1 mph average speed. But, no century ride this year, as the longest ride was 97 miles on CTS #12. The Flaming Geyser out and back. Topping out at 3,757 ft.

The true adventures of a gal and her bike. Sunday, July 26, 2015. This morning, I woke up feeling groggy. I sat up and immediately felt dizzy. Which was annoying, because I had signed up to work a volunteer shift as a roving mechanic for Sunday Parkways. I did not want or need to be dizzy. So I bailed about half an hour early from my shift, ate some lunch and went home, where I went straight to bed and slept hard for a couple of hours. I got to ride my bicycle.
