October 12th, 2014. Testing a new aluminium 14-tooth sprocket with POM guider bracket. It's on Bram's CHR right now and time will tell if this system will be a keeper. For me it's not completely new, since I already tried a similar setup 28 years ago. However, then it was made of steel and was removed again due to the annoying noise it produced. If the findings with this aluminium version lead to a positive assessment, the sprockets will be colour anodised and coated with a rock hard Teflon top layer.

High ranking for Bram Moens at Cycle Vision 2014 races. June 30th, 2014. After a nine year break Bram Moens took up racing again. As part of the preparation for the Viking Tour. The remarkable achievement by the 71 year old Mike Burrows must be mentioned too: with his partly faired two-wheeled Ratracer he covered 46.9 km in an hour and during the 3-hour race a full 131.4 km.
