It's not perfect, but at least I've mastered holding the scary needles! Homemade cookies using just 3 ingredients Chocolate spread, flour and an egg. These taste amazing, slightly gooey with crispy edges, Perfect with fresh coffee . And Lastly, although I could find lots more Happy things. This makes me Happy.

Tuesday, 24 November 2015. One Cold November Day. This morning we wrapped up warm and took the dogs to Cod Beck Reservoir at Osmotherley - one of their favourite spots. While we shivered in the wind the dogs swam in the freezing cold water and had a ball of a time. Thursday, 8 October 2015. More Gifts from the Allotment. As you can see, we're still getting lots of lovely produce from the allotment - even strawberries, in October! They may be white but they are still ripe and sweet. I arrived home from work today to the wonderful aroma of lovely hubby making raspberry jam . He had already made two batches of raspberry gin! Creation, not perfection. Wednesday, 1 October 2014. I've been a bit slow in posting this, but back at the beginning of September I made this delicious tea loaf as a way of baking with blackberries while they were still in season. The recipe comes from the National Trust " Teatime Baking Book. By Jane Pettigrew and along with the blackberries, lemon and black treacle help to give this loaf a lovely deep flavour. A yummy teatime treat I will definitely be making again next year. Tuesday, 2 September 2014.

Thursday, June 18, 2015. Be The Good in the World Plaque. I previously posted about a plaque I had made for a church silent auction that was similar to this one. It was such a hit that my Relief Society asked me to teach how to make it at a Relief Society Activity. I've had so much interest in it that I've decided to share this tutorial:. Make your plaque. I love scrap wood! My husband gets some credit here.he was the one who pulled all the wood apart. :). The wood I used above was about 3"x13"x3/4".
