First order of business was hooking up the AC on the boat. We have a portable unit that fits on top of the hatch in the main salon. Sunday, 30 July - Up and off the anchor at 6:15AM to make our way further West. The Hatter keeps wanting to turn around to head back E and N. It's a struggle keeping her moving in the W direction. :-) One day closer to "civilization" or is it "un-civilization"? Definitely one day closer to the heat and humidity and no one can argue that! We're definitely ready for that.

We were considering an offshore run to Cape May (again) but NOAA has a hazardous seas warning up for the offshore seas from Block Island down the S shore of Long Island. We've had enough of that. Atlernate plan is to head down LI Sound and take the inside passage toward NJ. Total travel today: 36 miles 7 hrs.
