Mr Meister gets a new 'do. Two weeks ago I posted shots of Michael running in his first race - well, the winner got to do something SUPER exciting - give Mr. Meister a new hairstyle! Sadly, Michael didn't win, but some lucky child did. What type of 'do did he "do" to Mr. Meister? Was it this one? Or was it this one?

Tuesday, March 08, 2011. We celebrated Becca's birthday with a party this past Saturday. She had been home for a week and a half with the flu, and was facing piles of makeup homework and the birthday party. Friday morning she broke into hives on her face, arms, and hands. She was itchy and miserable! Saturday was the same way, but her flu was gone - just the hives remained and she definately wanted the party to happen! Sunday, September 25, 2011. The Tiki Moon Villas. This was the quiet, serene, and Hawaiian feeling place we stayed in Laie across from the Polynesian Culture Center. We were so lucky that the pictures in the internet photos even come close to how pretty it was! Mom and I took walks on this beach, called "Bikini" beach each day and it was mostly deserted. I called my mom for help during the project, and was very grateful for her help. Becca bustled around in her dress, and I now understand perfectly the word "bustle" and why it was created! Sunday, September 05, 2010. We have only touched the surface of all the hikes in Shenandoah National Park! Saturday was a gorgeous day - low humidity and 80 degrees. It felt almost like fall. Garrett had to work, but Rhett and I and the three youngest girls drove up to the Cedar Falls trailhead. The hike was almost 5 miles round trip, but we stopped often to rest and spent about an hour at our destination - a natural rock waterslide into a deep pool! Sunday, October 10, 2010. A Little Glimpse of Heaven. So much hate and so much love next to each other in this boy's young life! I guess what I learned from today is reading the papers about acts of hate or about those Muslims out there that we should fear - came right into my backyard today - right into church for all to see and touch and hold, and to realize that I need to love and not turn a blind eye to those things going on around me. It was hard, but a little glimpse of Heaven. Papa and Nana Sue.
