Pentru a realiza un Live-USB avem nevoue de programul UNetbootin. Permite crearea unui Live-USB bootabil pe Ubuntu si Windows, fara a necesita existenta unui Live-CD/DVD. Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, sau Linux. Realizare Live-USB bootable cu. Dupa instalare executati pornirea programului. In fereasra deschisa alegeti formarul de imagine [Diskimage] care pentru freeGIS este ISO si locatia fisierului *.iso in calculator. 4 Copierea fisierelor de sistem pe USB.
