Thursday, October 30, 2008. We walked to Hamish's Ice-cream Parlour at the Mapua wharf. Adele, the owner, spoke to us about running a business. We found out:. We need to be nice to customers so they'll come back. If ou ust be mean, they won't come back and you won't have any customers. Then you get a loss. (Hannah T). When you get all your money together and pay your bills, what is left is called "profit". Loss is when you earn your money and then you pay your bills and there is none left. (Jessica).

2015 Learning Around The Clock

2015 Learning Around The Clock. Our topic for this Term is Kaitiakitanga which means guardianship and conservation of the natural world. We are focusing on waste and sustainability. So far we have been researching plastic and paper for our discovery pages. We have dumped our classroom rubbish bin out to create a tally chart of our trash.
