We arrived back in Wellington at midnight 4 October, exactly six months since our departure on 4 April. Such a trip. The familiarity of things we have known well for the last 20 years melds into a seamless memory, and the past six months almost like a dream. There is much to do, and it will be a few weeks yet before we are back in our own house. Back in Welly the weather's fine.
