A 60 metre long retaining wall extending along the hill acts as support so that the view at the front of the house is unobstructed. Investigating the mat-ability of the scheme. Using the plan of the Eames house, the grid is firstly simplified into even bays. The plan is made up of 4 bays of nine squares each. Our urban condition (a pedestrian city) needs to now look at a globalized system throughout our individual plots. Spatial logics, landmarks, clear and understandable connections and routes, orientations, etc. as well as understanding the existing conditions. The making of architecture is an act of organized chaos. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Urban field - testing the layering system on 1:500 scale. As we studied in the previus tests the module from plan seems be always the same pattern. Althought in plan the module is the same as the 2d pattern in the 3d axo the system starts generate different spaces which affect the elevation of each side of the module.
