Friday, 28 June 2013. I will try to avoid toxic substances, they are every where, but I will do my best. Water with fluoride, no thank you I'll buy spring water( I should install filters on my taps and put an end to toxic showers). And what about all those SLS in shampoo and shower gel? I'll get Castille soap, it's natural and does body and hair. So how much is too much? Where is the line between being healthy and being crazy? Saturday, 23 January 2016. In "our" farm there is a horse trekking center. My oldest daughter is working there and my youngest is helping after school and on the weekends. Every day I go up and hang around the yard, talking with the horses, I quite enjoy their company. Keeping horses is hard work and expensive, not that I have to worry about it, but these animals need a lot of maintenance! They have new shoes every six weeks, they even need regular dentist visits! Saturday, 29 June 2013. I must be a terrible mother! I grew up without internet, if I wanted to learn something or clarify a doubt I had to walk to the library (it never happened, too lazy). Having all the information I want in my home is very exciting, so when I want to learn something, being it the capital of a country or playing the guitar, I google it. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Newbridge house and farm day out. This week we have had our cousin visiting and as it's her last day here with us we thought we would go explore the Newbridge Estate. It's only five minutes down the road and I knew there would be goats, so I was all up for it. I was not disappointed! Newbridge Demesne is an early 18th century Georgia estate and mansion. Sunday, December 14, 2014. Super quick beef stew - slow cooker recipe. I think slow cooker 101 is a hearty beef stew and that is what I have cooking in mine tonight.
