The mission of the Marshall County Arts Commission is to insure the inclusion of the cultural heritage of the arts in Marshall County, aid in providing venue opportunities for arts presentations by and for the citizens of Marshall County and assist in securing financial support for these provisions. The Commission seeks to serve as a catalyst for the development of an appreciation for the arts as a whole and all the disciplines therein. Children’s Theater meets weekly throughout the school year on Mondays.

Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Ctr. The Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Marshall County High School, 416 High School Road in Benton, Ky. The Center boasts state of the art sound and light systems, an orchestra pit and will comfortably seat 890 patrons plus 14 handicap accessible spaces.
