Marty and Cheryls Road Trip. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Greetings from Yellowstone National Park! Marty and I have been camping right in Yellowstone National Park for the past few days! We haven't had any Internet or phone service, so we are just now blogging the first day there. As you can tell from the bison in the picture, we had to share the road and wilderness with many four-legged creatures! The scenery at Yellowstone National Park is breath taking! The Grand Tetons National Park was also beautiful!

We visited Graceland in Memphis, TN, yesterday! 160;Even though we are not HUGE Elvis fans, it was very fascinating! 160;One pic is of his living room. With stained glass peacocks and a baby grand piano. The other pic in Graceland is of the burial. Two of the other pics are of Marty trying out some guitars at the Gibson guitar factory and store. He was, once again, in his glory! 160;Forget the fact, that we couldn't afford the four-figured price tag!

Upon arriving in Texas, we took the Avalon for a much-needed oil change after almost 7,000 miles of driving across the country! Once that was done, Sallie decided to show us what was so great about the Cheesecake Factory! 160; Since we were there at rush hour, which is probably every hour that they are open, we decided to take our 'cheesecakes' TO GO! 160; It is much funnier if we tell it to you in person! Marty and Cheryls Road Trip. Saturday, July 3, 2010. Today, we went to the Smithsonian National Zoo! 160;We actually figured out how to navigate the Metrobus. System using a connecting bus line because our bus line did not go to the zoo. We didn't even have to ask for help, which is a far cry from where we were three days ago! 160;The pandas that are at the zoo are on loan from China. I am not sure if the panda in this picture is Tien. Dragon; which one of them is breathing fire! 160;What a small world!
