Welcome to my cottage where I play and create with fabric, paints and anything else that comes to mind. I hope you enjoy the visit and return again soon! Thursday, January 8, 2015. Well, I took a couple of weeks off because of Christmas and New Year and when I walked back into my studio the other day I saw this. My embroidery thread was all over the floor. http://sarasquiltingcorner.blogspot.com/2015/05/elmers-glue-quilt-basting-tutorial.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Elmers Glue Quilt Basting Tutorial. A loooong time ago I became increasingly frustrated with all the ways that existed to baste my larger quilts. I tried pin basting and oh my aching back, not to mention I always, without fail, would have a pucker on the back of my quilt when I had finished quilting. Welcome to my cottage where I play and create with fabric, paints and anything else that comes to mind. I hope you enjoy the visit and return again soon! Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Blue Birds hard at work! I caught these shots of a pair of Eastern Blue Birds the other day. They seem to be hard at work on a nest in the corner eve of our car port. They were flying from the fence to the edge of the car port. There is an open area right below the roof where they are making their home this year.
