NYDP – A Self-guided Culinary Education! Teaching myself to cook and throwing dinner parties for my friends. Dinner Party Numero Uno! Cheese tasting at Brooklyn Larder. January 25, 2013. Today, in search of the right appetizer to greet my friends as they walk into my apartment I ventured into a little shop on Flatbush Ave. For three and a half years Park Slope has been the home of a delightful little niche shop called Brooklyn Larder. This is what she brought me. OMD – Oh my deity! Bavaria), Goat Gouda.

Osaka: Shitennoji | 関西いのち
https://kansaiinochi.wordpress.com/2013/05/12/osaka-shitennoji
Studying abroad in Japan for the first time… Adventures are bound to happen. After walking past Tsuruhashi, I’ve finally made my way to Shitennoji like 30-40 minutes later. Shitennoji, 四天王寺, literally means shrine of the four heavenly kings. People who come here looking for Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Jacky Cheung, and Aaron Kwok will be in for a disappointment./obscure Canto-pop reference. 8230; why was this place so empty? Lots of ninja turtles swimming and relaxing on the platforms :D. 2013/05/16 at 3:26 PM.

Studying abroad in Japan for the first time… Adventures are bound to happen. Anyway, here’s one of the landmark areas of Osaka: Shin Sekai. While walking along Tennoji toward Shin Sekai, I came across this decidedly modern looking temple. Couldn’t really check it out because it was closed. Forgot the name of it though ;. In the midst of all the restaurants and shops, one can still find a shrine tucked away in a corner somewhere on the street. That’s Japan for you. The origin of katsu katsu. I’m act...
