Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Stop the RIAA - Interesting post. Disclaimer: As promised, I'm not going to be doing political posts on this blog. This isn't a political post. It's not about politics, it's about the music industry. I didn't write this. But I think it's an interesting challenge to bring true change to the music industry. Want to fix this? Stop consuming (this encompasses illegal downloading as well as legitimate purchases) products from their members, too. Lobby the bands instea...

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Wow Rockets are huge. Posted by jason at Friday, May 28, 2010 1 comments. I'm leaving for Houston tomorrow morning. Nice and early. Ah well, at least I enjoy flying. I even enjoy sitting in airports. It's comforting somehow. I'll be blogging and facebooking my experience down there as I visit Johnson Space Center. I'll also, of course, blog my visit to this little mecca:. Posted by jason at Tuesday, May 18, 2010 2 comments. Then do it. Twice. Not pictured: pants ...

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Ever have one of those perfect days? With a week chalked full of depressing, stressful, and really heavy stuff, I was granted a huge break of sunshine yesterday. I found out that the kids didn't have school, and that my wife didn't have to do any work. Her only plan was to get Logan in to have his picture taken. Well, while she was doing that, I took Noah and Gracie over to Gabriel skatepark. We went home and got some lunch and then went to the zoo as a whole fam...

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Pain is a Souvenir. After fighting, everything else in your life got the volume turned down. Jack, "Fight Club". Why do I keep doing this to myself? Why do I keep finding the most outrageous and creative ways of injuring myself? It'd be so easy not to; all I'd have to do is simply stop skateboarding. Done. End of discussion. Shallow" being a very loose use of the term here. There's one very simple rule about skateboarding when it's wet. DONT. This is extremely im...

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Posted by jason at Friday, March 26, 2010 1 comments. Wait less to be weightless. This last weekend Noah and I went down to the Aumsville skatepark, just south of Salem. It was a bowl type park, built by Dreamland Skateparks (the guys who build Burnside). There wasn't a lot of street terrain (stairs/rails/ledges/etc). It was basically a giant U shaped bowl of half pipes. This allowed me to start doing kickturns (180's) up in the vertical part of the ramp. This is...

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Well I hate to say it, but summer is about 1/2 way over. Although another anniversary is coming up quick. The Oregon Trifecta. This is a 3-day, 3-park skate contest. This was last August. Last August, I didn't skate ramps and parks very much. I grew up skating street and big ramps terrified me. The thought of skating a vert ramp was laughable. If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. -Marty McFly. Grind deep end of pool grind big wall in bowl.

Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Time to hop blogs. As much as I love this blog, I have to leave it. Because there just isn't (and probably wont be) any good blogger iPhone apps anytime soon. I'm now moving over to http:/ bettineski.tumblr.com. I like tumblr. I can upload photos, audio, videos, text, quotes, whatever I want from either a computer or my phone. Blogger can't compete with that. See you on the other side. Jason things: Star Wars Toy Review!
http://bettineski.blogspot.com/2010/10/star-wars-toy-review.html
Watch for the changes and try to keep up. Star Wars Toy Review! I took my two youngest to Toys R Us tonight. Logan demanded that we wander every single aisle, and I was happy to oblige. I know how that store is when you're a kid and I wasn't about to deny him the chance to anger all of the store clerks by playing with every single toy he (we) could get our hands on. Maybe it's because his included accessory is A F* * ING WELDING MASK. For all that hot space soldering action! Maybe it's just me, but he lo...
