BioFolD - Biomolecules, Folding and Disease
http://www.biofold.org/index.html
The BioFolD Unit is currently hosted at the Institute for Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems, University of Düsseldorf. The final goal of our research activity is the understanding of the relationship between genomic variations and disease using large amount of data derived from high-throughput techniques. We are interested to develop new disease-specific algorithms and new tools for the personal genomics and personalized medicine.

The researchers of the BioFolD Unit have developed several web server applications that are currently hosted on servers of the Institute for Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems, University of Düsseldorf. Italy) and manatined by other collaborators. In the next months a mirror of these applications will be made available on this server. Currently you can reach these web servers using the following links. Support Vector Machine based method to predict cancer-causing mutations (Beta version).
