The Importance of Dessert: October 2012
http://havemorecake.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
The Importance of Dessert. Sunday, October 7, 2012. Nick said that if he were to give Nat his midyear review, the term normally used in the corporate environment to refer to a checkpoint in one's performance about 6 months into the year, he would emphasize that Nat could improve his sleeping habits. Natty has gotten better at taking naps during the day, but is now more reluctant to go to sleep at. And is starting to get into the habit of calling out to us around. Natty wants to stand as much as possible.

The Importance of Dessert: What's Cooking: Something Orange, Sweet and Yummy
http://havemorecake.blogspot.com/2013/10/whats-cooking-something-orange-sweet.html
The Importance of Dessert. Saturday, October 26, 2013. What's Cooking: Something Orange, Sweet and Yummy. I have only followed Dorie Greenspan's recipe for a pumpkin"Stuffed with Everything Good". Once, and it was very good. Since then I have made multiple variations on the theme. I find that using a covered baking dish (e.g. a dutch oven or a covered pyrex dish) simplifies the cooking method because you do not have to worry about picking a pumpkin of the right size and carving it. 1-2 cups of heavy cream.

The Importance of Dessert: June 2014
http://havemorecake.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
The Importance of Dessert. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Confessions of the Twilight Saga Junkie. I never intended to read the Twilight Books. Last December, I was browsing through the bookshelves at Nick's parents house, when I came across the first book. Vaguely aware that this series of books were hugely popular when they came out a few years ago, I decided read a few pages to see what the hype was all about. A few pages was all it took to get me hooked. It is the story of true love, unequivocal. Inevitabl...

The Importance of Dessert. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Our First Sensory Bag. Since I never have enough time to write for the blog, I thought I would try a more visual approach. Here is what I did last night after putting the baby to bed, baking some shortbread and making my lunch for the next day. Later Edit: This is NOT blood (Это НЕ кровь.) This is food coloring! This is our first "sensory bag", something I came across on the internet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to this blog. On the Red Line.

In other news, Nat started pointing today. When I tried to rock him to sleep for his nap this afternoon, he held his head up and pointed to his crib. He wanted me to put him in his crib, so that he could walk around on his mattress while wearing his sleeping sack. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Again with the Blarg.

The Importance of Dessert: Imagination
http://havemorecake.blogspot.com/2013/05/imagination.html
The Importance of Dessert. Monday, May 6, 2013. Our son has imagination," said Nick as we watched Nat walk around the house with an empty cup in his hands. Notably, one of the things he was doing with the cup was holding it up to his mouth and tilting his head as far as he could. He was clearing doing what his dad does when he is finishing a cup of juice. And then we took it to the next level. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe to this blog. Have More Cake Designs.
