We attended church services, had a huge feast afterward and then watched "One Night with the King". Conveniently, this ended at 11:55 pm, and we proceeded straight to the street in front of the compound where our younger residents were launching rockets and lighting fireworks. Monday, December 31, 2007. Vaccinations and New Years Eve! The doctor said Moriah is 5.8 kgs which is about 13 pounds! She is a big girl alright. The doctor was impressed that Moriah is growing well and developing well. She gave Moriah two shots in the legs. Moriah did not cry very much because she had just woke up and did not really realize what happened until it was over. She did sleep a lot the rest of the day though. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Sunday, April 6, 2008. The Gift of Discernment. Today we went to a service near the airport. It was a nice service with lots of people. Rob and Ernie helped dedicate two beautiful little girls. They were all dressed up in white gowns and hates and jewelry. No wonder they always think Moriah is a boy baby. I barely get a dress on her in the morning better yet jewelry and things!
