Sunday, December 16, 2012. People have been asking how the adoption is going lately. Our home study is done. We spent a lot of time on it, and it took a lot of physical and emotional energy, but it's done! We hope to spend our time of waiting in prayer, and learning as much as we can about Taiwan. It's people, it's culture. We hope to prepare ourselves as much as possible for the child God has for us. Her very own big girl bike! They worked together and had such a good time! Then it was time for presents!

Friday, August 23, 2013. We all know that over the years our family has spent a lot of time on the farm. If we want to see my family, we pretty much have to go to them as Ben and dad can't really leave the cows (much to their chagrin many days.). The farm is their life, and unlike most occupations, it never gets left at the office. We headed down in June to visit over Rodeo weekend. Monday, January 16, 2012. Today Isaac is 2 months old! He loves bath time. We use it a lot in the evening to prolong his awake time and regulate his schedule. If he's tired too soon and fussy, we put him in the tub and he lights up. Tonight he was splashing the water with his feet and doing a little 2 month baby giggle. Isaac is rocking a pretty good double chin! He eats well and it shows! I'm not sure that he's as big as Andrew was, but he holds his own! He's a happy baby and the whole family loves him!

Monday, August 27, 2012. I didn't get around to posting about Isaac at 8 months, so here's an update on the last 2 months. As you can see, the biggest transition is that he learned to crawl. He is EVERYWHERE now. It seems that I have forgotten how mobile these children can be. And of course, he has the attention span of a gnat and moves from one thing to the next without a seconds thought. He is a squawker for sure! With Allison in school all day 5 days a week, and Andrew in school all day 3 days a week,...
