Laquo; It was a PB Type Weekend. Asics DS Trainer 18. Ouch, This Hurts. A lot Don’t try it at home, trust me. What is this? Crashing your bike. The Asheville camp was in full swing and going great. Other’s have written about it. Warren Wilson College has a pretty sweet aquatics center with dry erase boards already built into the wall. Awesome! So what’s so painful about 2.5 hours of swimming? Campers at the top of the climb. Then on Highway 80 coming around a right hand turn I see Heath. 8221; I think I ...

Formerly Big Fat Eric: June 2012
http://ericsachtjen.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Formerly Big Fat Eric. Monday, June 11, 2012. Training for IM CDA has been going well. Finished the last day of my build, with no cooperation from Mother Nature I might add. Last night I took my bike outside to give it a good cleaning. Lo and behold, what do I see, but a nice crack on the leading edge of the seat tube staring back at me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Formerly Big Fat Eric. Monday, February 27, 2012. New Ride / Argon E-116. It's finally in the Northwest. Here's my new frame, an Argon E-116. Can't wait until it's all built up. Here's what it would look like if I had an extra $8,000 to drop on it. Alas, Jim at CycleMetrix in Coeur d'Alene is swapping my components from the old frame to this new one. Can't wait. If only the snow would go away. Monday, February 13, 2012. Last week I signed up for the Leadman 250. Why did I sign up? John Post, MD's Blog.

The **A** Train: Taylorsville Half Ironman
http://ridetheatrain.blogspot.com/2011/05/taylorsville-half-ironman.html
The * A* Train. Friday, May 20, 2011. I met my training partner at his house around 7am we grabbed a cup of coffee double checked our gear, broke down our bikes and loaded up. The GPS was set for the 6.5 hour trip to Kentucky, tunes were jammin and the tank was full in the turbo saab wagon, We averaged about 75-80 mph on the way down with almost no highway patrol in sight. We arrived at the course, set our bikes up and headed out for a warm up run, as we returned back from the run it started to rain....

The **A** Train: Twinsburg Duathlon
http://ridetheatrain.blogspot.com/2011/06/twinsburg-duathlon.html
The * A* Train. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Well once again the new job had foiled my original plans, Thursday and Friday turned out to be two back to back 10 hour days so I decided to not race the Edinboro Olympic triathlon in PA on Saturday and jump in on a local sprint duathlon. On Sunday. We started Saturday with a 2 hour tempo ride then headed off to packet pickup where I volunteered from 1-5 to help with packet pickup and set up the bike racks, then I headed home for some pasta and tuned the bike up.

Friday, July 25, 2008. My appologies to those (Matt) who are waiting to hear about this fantastic 204 mile bike trip 2 weekends ago. Well, You'll have to wait at least another week. I'm going to the most beautiful place! It's a place close to my heart and I get to hang out with hundreds of overly dramatic and crazy-fun high schoolers. I couldn't be luckier.and I sincerely mean that! A glimpse from last year's trip. Peace in the morning. Ziplining with the mountains. Our cabin of Medical Lake girls. 5 Wom...

Life is too short to sit around and wait for the next one. And I am going to bribe you to keep reading with some FREE GU though I know you would love to read it anyways ;). My Sales Territory = Lots of Driving. And since you kept reading all they way to the bottom, I have a little GU give-a-way contest. I thought about doing this when I started the new position (because I knew it was inevitable) but now that it has actually happened, now just seems like the right time. Saturday, February 18, 2012.

Life is too short to sit around and wait for the next one. Winter Training- Mind Confusion. We have had just a little bit of snow this year :). When the snow is piled high and the temperatures drop, training in the Pacific Northwest can become difficult. Throw in the fact that it is the off-season and it becomes a perfect storm for sitting on the couch watching TV and enjoying a few adult beverages to pass the time away. For the last month or so, Eric and I have been hitting the gym twice a week to do ci...
