This year, Matt has been working all day most days, leaving before the girls get up and getting home after they go to bed, so we had to put the tree up ourselves. Clara and I did it while Ruby was asleep so she wouldn't eat all of the ornaments, and unwrapping each one with her to hang on the tree and explaining where we got them was such a special holiday memory for us. Our friend Sarah wanted to get Clara a special experience for Christmas, so she found a holiday toy tea in San Rafael geared towards kids. After we were done, we went out on the lawn and played with the leaves before dragging Clara out kicking and screaming since she was having such a good time and didn't want to leave. This year, we knew we would be in our new house by the time we could get our family photos taken, and we knew we wanted them in our home. However, we had moved the weekend before and it was a disaster, so the day before Anita came over, we moved all of our crap to one room, except for the packed boxes, and just went for it. I would apologize for the amount of photos I'm sharing, but man, I love them all. Labels: Under One Roof.

Thursday, April 11, 2013. Man, am I so glad it is starting to warm up! When I was working full time, I never quite understood how someone could get so sick of staying "cooped up inside" all the time. I used to think that I would give anything to be home all the time, BUT now that I stay home all the time and have Brittlyn and all we do is stay inside because it is to cold to go outside, I understand the meaning of being cooped up inside! Wednesday, October 8, 2014. It's Almost Olivia Time! Today I was that crazy lady who tried every old wives tale she could think of to get her labor started! I drank cinnamon tea until I was ready to float away. I had eggplant parmesan for lunch and pineapple for dessert. Cheyenne and I went on several walks.
