Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Claire went on a field trip last week to the local fire department. Lucian was able to go along, so I even have a photo! The fire house is across the street from her school, so they walked there as a group. A moment after this photo, the team giving the tour had to rush out on a call. Friday, July 31, 2015. Over the 4th weekend I took Claire to get her ears pierced. She has been talking about it for a while. We debated having her wait for her birthday, but realized this way she will be able to change out her earrings around that time. Monday, December 15, 2014. Spencer was home for Thanksgiving. We gathered at Lucian's parents for a fabulous meal, but someone in the family definitely stole the show. Our nephew Henry William joined the world on Thanksgiving. I wrapped up the meal prep and some dessert as Lucian's mom and siblings rushed off to the hospital for his birth. Welcome Henry! Friday, February 27, 2015. Lucian was offered tickets to a Milwaukee Bucks game on Wednesday. We rarely venture out after work during the week, but for some reason it sounded like a good idea that afternoon. By the time we got home it was dark and snowing and I almost chickened out. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. We attended Claire's K4 parent-teacher conference last week. She is doing well and has really come out of her shell since the first day. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Amidst all the holiday chaos, out sweet little Kyle turned 3 years old. Kyle is extremely talkative, sweet and energetic. He loves all sorts of cars, trucks and planes. He is always fixing things with his tools and always making a mess. We hosted a party with the fam and coaxed him through another round of presents. One of his gifts even had feet! December 20, 2010. Well, I also made these fun Gum-Ball shaped candy jars for Grandpa's and Grandma's. They turned out pretty cute so I thought I would share. I just used a terra-cotta pot and a glass bowl. The lid is the base of the pot upside down with a wooden knob glued to it. I think I need to make one for me now. Shared by Matt and Holly.
