Jan 27, 2009. Now that I'm 5. A few weeks ago we were walking into my parents church to attend Cameron's farewell. Just after we walked through the doors, Dakota. Turned to me and said, "Mom, do you know why I have been so disobedient? 160;It was because I was only 4 years old and I wanted to wait until I turned 5. So, now I am 5 and I am going to obey you." I don't know where that thought came from, but I'll take it! Dakota had just had his 5th birthday the day before.

August 28, 2010. Another School Year Begins! On Wednesday, Dax and Kota started school. We decided it would be fun to take the boys to McDonald's for breakfast to encourage them to wake up and get ready early. They were thrilled with this idea since they have been bugging us to take them to the new McDonald's that just opened a few blocks away. November 4, 2010. A Week Packed with Fun. Last week was crazy! Picking up Kosuke from BYU. We had a blast cleaning out and carving pumpkins for our porch. Some thought the slimy guts were cool, some thought it was. And Aubriella wouldn't stop trying to. Lick the inside of the pumpkin (Yuck! The next morning we woke up to about 6 inches of snow! Thursday I was able to help at Austin and Bradin's preschool. Here is my little "Toad" and "Yellow Toad" ready for school. Bean dip was a little to strange for him.

April 20, 2010. Daxton was really excited for the Cub Scout pinewood derby race. He really wanted to make his car look like an iPod so we let him run with the idea. June 21, 2010. A Cancun, Mexico Getaway. Three days after we unpacked our bags from the Rudd reunion, we packed our bags again. On Wednesday morning, the kids were off to Grandpa and Grandma's house and Matt and I were flying to Cancun, Mexico. We were so excited for a very, very relaxing vacation. November 30, 2010. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day this year! We celebrated it with Matt's family this year and started a few new traditions. We spent the morning baking rolls, decorating sugar cookies to look like Indian corn (with Fruit Roll-Ups and Reese's Pieces), and cutting up the yummy fudge we had made the night before. We gathered a few things to take to Grandpa and Grandma's to entertain the kids while we waited to the food to be prepared. Thanks Grandpa, it looks fabulous! November 29, 2010.

December 20, 2010. Well, I also made these fun Gum-Ball shaped candy jars for Grandpa's and Grandma's. They turned out pretty cute so I thought I would share. I just used a terra-cotta pot and a glass bowl. The lid is the base of the pot upside down with a wooden knob glued to it. I think I need to make one for me now. Shared by Matt and Holly. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Snowshoeing at Gunstock XC Ski Area. We had alot of fun this day! Maggie was upset, she wanted to XC ski but we didn't know how Rylee would do so we decided to try it another day. Would like to buy one of these but they are pretty expensive brand new and I've not found one yet that is used. Matt waiting for the parade to start before the plunge. Rylee's kindergarten class at Swasey takes turns writing in a journal about their class stuffed animal, Cookie. Reese liked Cookie!
