Matt, Lauren, Claire, and Henry: August 2012
http://razzyraves.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 20, 2012. Welcome to the farm, Riley-Hund! Let it be known that there's a new dog on the block. We are so excited to have found the perfect dog to add to our family. His name was Henry, but obviously we're changing it. He only got that name at the shelter two months ago anyway, so he didn't really know it as his own yet. On the way home from the shelter, we tossed around a few names. Riley is the perfect name for this big, lovable guy! Claire is trying to comfort Katja! View my complete pr...

Matt, Lauren, Claire, and Henry: July 2013
http://razzyraves.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Here's for all you Claire and Henry lovers.I've been absent from blogging, again. Whoops! Last week, Claire, Henry, and I were in the Fair Parade to kick off fair week. We wore our Thirty-One shirts and bags and waited almost two hours to walk in a thirty minute parade. It was fun! No, really, it was. :) Claire loved throwing candy to the kids, being on the 'other side' of the parade duties = no more spectatorship for her! She has an arm! When I asked him "Wo ist Henrys Kopf?

Sunday, July 21, 2013. Brad and I like to say that Clara has a good life. Her second birthday was no exception, Clara had a birthday-palooza. We started on her actual birthday on the 11th. We practiced singing Happy Birthday for a few weeks beforehand. Clara was excited when she actually got to fill in her name in the song on her big day. She ended her birthday outside running through the sprinkler in her clothes. I love the simple joys of being a little kid. We ended the night playing outside. Just like...

Matt, Lauren, Claire, and Henry: June 2014
http://razzyraves.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Melts my heart. If only I could have gotten it on video in his little Henry voice…. Mami: Henry, weisst du wie sehr Gott dich lieb hat? Henry: Gott hat mi schoffen. (Gott hat mich geschoffen.). Seriously, so much better hearing it in person in his little voice and seeing him laying in bed in his dark room, but alas, at least I'm recording it for future memory here. Henry, do you know how much God loves you? I'm expecting "soooo much" here.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Strouse House: November 2013

Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Fall is the best. We love Panther football games, the weather is great and there are lots of simple fun things to do. Fall flew by this year, as we were in wedding prep mode. But, we managed to enjoy a few traditional activities. One chilly Saturday morning during Luke's nap, we helped Clara jump in the leaves in our front yard. She loved it! His cheeks get me every time. Our little Tigger and Winnie the Pooh had lots of fun on Halloween too. Clara loved to bounce in her c...

Strouse House: Luke the Toddler (15 Months)
http://bradandmollie.blogspot.com/2014/06/luke-toddler-15-months.html
Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Luke the Toddler (15 Months). We’re having a hard time accepting that this guy isn’t “baby Luke” anymore. But, we have to admit he’s turning into more of a toddler every day. He’s walking everywhere now, and tends to run the fastest when we tell him no! He’s still a pretty good eater, but has learned to get a reaction from us by tossing his food across the room. We try and ignore the behavior in an effort to not encourage, but Clara doesn’t want to let anything R...Luke copies e...

Strouse House: Spring Break 2014
http://bradandmollie.blogspot.com/2014/04/spring-break-2014.html
Sunday, April 27, 2014. We jumped at the chance to join the Daniels family for a beach vacation in March. While vacationing with small children is not relaxing, it was a lot of fun. Both kids did fairly well flying and staying flexible with their "schedules.". We all stayed in a house in Captiva, Florida. It's a great vacation spot for families, as everything is walkable and the beach is always close. Our little family had two bedrooms to share and it was nice to spread out a bit. We loved getting to spe...

Strouse House: October 2013
http://bradandmollie.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 28, 2013. Clara has picked up the phrase "big day". Sometimes when we ask her what she did at school or daycare she'll tell us "big day guys, big day" with her very emphatic hand motions. We had a big day a couple weeks ago that was just what we needed. Luke had been sick early in the week and we were running on little sleep and very little sanity :). Luke was a trooper after a couple days of fever. We have a (maybe weird? She and dad also had some fun "hiding". Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

Sunday, June 23, 2013. Brad and Clara's Adventure. Before Clara turned two, Brad wanted to fly with her to visit his dad in Dallas. It worked out that both his siblings were headed down in June so they joined the trip! This is how Clara helped pack. Clara was really excited to fly! While they were there, they also visited the zoo. Clara loved seeing the animals and they had a great day exploring. She got to be really close to the lions and the giraffes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some catching up to do.
