We are so far overdue for blogging.it just seems so overwhelming sometimes to think about all of the time we could put into keeping up this blog up to date. For today we're just going to do a quick post with a few photos - hopefully we'll get back into blogging again pretty soon. Thursday, June 28, 2012. Asher David was born yesterday. We did a home birth this time around and it was such an amazing experience for us! We're both healthy and doing great. He came out at 7 lbs, 8 oz and was 20" long. We don't have too many photos yet, but here are a couple. And Leah said, "Happy am I! For women have called me happy." So she called his name Asher. Monday, January 30, 2012. Not much new here really. Matt's still been working some long hours so Joella's especially excited to have him around more on the weekends. Matt started flying fixed wing recently. He did his first solo a couple of weeks ago so that's kind of neat that technically he can fly helicopters and airplanes :) He still has quite a few instruction hours left to get to a point where he could fly our family anywhere, but it's still fun to think about! We wore our Thirty-One shirts and bags and waited almost two hours to walk in a thirty minute parade. It was fun! Sunday, April 27, 2014. We jumped at the chance to join the Daniels family for a beach vacation in March. While vacationing with small children is not relaxing, it was a lot of fun. Monday, October 28, 2013. Clara has picked up the phrase "big day". Sometimes when we ask her what she did at school or daycare she'll tell us "big day guys, big day" with her very emphatic hand motions. We had a big day a couple weeks ago that was just what we needed. Luke had been sick early in the week and we were running on little sleep and very little sanity :). Sunday, June 23, 2013. Brad and Clara's Adventure. Before Clara turned two, Brad wanted to fly with her to visit his dad in Dallas. It worked out that both his siblings were headed down in June so they joined the trip! This is how Clara helped pack. Clara was really excited to fly! While they were there, they also visited the zoo. Clara loved seeing the animals and they had a great day exploring. She got to be really close to the lions and the giraffes.
