We stayed here in town for Memorial Day weekend rather than going to the lake like we usually do.but we still had a blast spending time together as a family and enjoying being outside! Thursday, January 30, 2014. Watson had his own mini tree in his room this year. He got to pick out the ornaments he wanted to use and helped me decorate his tree. Christmas at The Club. I absolutely love seeing her little personality come out more and more each day.and consequently falling more and more in love with her every day as well :). For The Joy of All Nations. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. It's June 10th. When I glanced at my phone this morning and saw June 10, it hit me how crazy it is that we are sitting in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, today. On June 10th of last year Patrick and Samuel and I were on a plane headed to Bratislava, Slovakia. We were calling our move "long-term." We wanted to raise our family there. But we never expected to be here in America today. In fact, by December we were back on a plane to America. My parents came to visit.

Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Bennett turned 8 months on Monday. I honestly cannot believe how fast this year is flying by. The Big Man is changing everyday and continues to develop such a personality. He laughs at his sister and her silly antics and will become giddy when you goof off with him. His last height was 28 1/2 inches and he weighted 21 lbs. He has actually slimmed up some so I am curious to see what he weights when we go for our 9 months check up in March. And says it all the time! Jess explains...

Monday, November 15, 2010. Better Late Than Never. I realize that it is almost Thanksgiving, but I wanted to share my pumpkins from Halloween. Staying true to my Hoover roots, I had to do one with the Jolly Roger face. That joker was hard! I mean, H-A-R-D! My hands hurt for 2 days after I carved that guy. We also carved one with a funny smile and one with a ghost. Overall, they turned out cute (I thought). I was proud of my pumpkins. Those little ghosts and goblins are smart!
