Thursday, December 25, 2014. I was so excited for Christmas this year! We had a nice quiet Christmas in Chicago. It wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, because I hurt my back two days before and was pretty much stuck in bed or on the couch all day. Sunday, July 27, 2014. I cannot believe how fast the past year has gone! Adam turned one on Friday, July 18th. We had a quiet little day on Friday as Little Bud was teething and having a little bit of an off day. Friday evening we went to a local festival to enjoy the weather and celebrate a little for Adam. Thursday, November 27, 2014. On a lighter note. our actual Thanksgiving day was pretty low key. I made a turkey and dinner like usual, we watched the Macy's parade (Adam liked the balloon/floats), and we watched some great football games. We hung out, relaxed, and ate (and did a little online shopping) ;). He did great, again, until we had to leave and he freaked out because he couldn't stay and play with all of the *new* toys. Helping" me prep the turkey. Boxes are so much fun! I freaking love coloring!

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. This past weekend we celebrated Adam's baptism. My family came out to help celebrate and we had a wonderful weekend. My Aunt Judy said it best when she said it was a "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles kind of weekend." It really was. Friday my cousins and Aunt arrived by train. Sarah and Pat came to hang out Friday evening and we took them to Kuma's Corner. Meeting his Godmother for the first time. Bailey got some extra attention too. Family comes to visit. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Adam is doing so many sweet things right now that I want to write them down so I'll remember and never forget them. He waves to the planes when we're going on walks and waves to the crowds on the Today Show when they span over them on TV. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Chicago Park District knocks it out of the park again! Okay maybe I'm being a little dramatic. But I love that they put on fun and affordable family events for the little ones. Next we got in line for the bouncy house since Adam loves to jump. But when it was time to crawl through the little hole to go in to the house he freaked and didn't want to go in. So we went over and played some games that were set up in a different area. Saturday, February 28, 2015. I never heard of Mommycon. Until late last year. Since having Adam, a passion for breastfeeding, babywearing, and cloth diapering has blossomed. I am in various facebook groups, and saw this "mommycon" mentioned last year.
