Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Winter is nearly over here in South Africa and we can’t believe how mild it was! Some days were cold (in the low 50’s, maybe even the upper 40’s) but days in the upper 50’s and 60’s were the norm. Recently we’ve had a few days in the upper 70’s. Still, it doesn't seem that far when we think about the oceans that connect us, the jet stream, the changing climate. That has us thinking about the effect of our actions on a day to day basis.and grocery store packaging.
