Having lived in the Copperbelt in Zambia we know that one of the central questions about Zambia is always: why is this once middle-income country so poor, when it is so rich – 2bn worth extracted from its mines last year – in copper? Matt and Polly’s blog website. 25 September, 2007 at 5:42 pm. We are now safely back in the UK, after a wonderful journey by train from Zambia to Tanzania. It was a great way to see more of both countries – and it is amazing how fast time goes when you can just sit and watch the world go by! We’ve uploaded a few photo’s to our flickr pages. 8211; which are also inserted as a slide show below. Looking forward to settling into UK life once our heads and bodies recover from the journey! The romps and raves of two dogs and their humans. Pilar and I spent last week traveling through Big Sur and up in Tuolumne County. Our first night, we went through Santa Barbara and stayed at El Capitan State Beach. The camping fee was $45! Outrageous. We only spent one night there, though, and were on to the next adventure. Matt, Piper, Eli, and Peyton Our little eternal family. Monday, March 4, 2013. Of course I'm playing catch up. We had a wonderful Christmas, followed by Kimber getting blessed in January. We did it over Civil Rights Day (PC), and it was really nice for my family to be able to be there. The only bad thing was, she started coughing that day. Eli has started baseball and he loves it.
