Wednesday, September 24, 2014. For Labor Day weekend this year, we made the rounds and visited both of our families. We got the kids a little early from school on Friday and headed to Little Rock. February 11, 2009. Right now, Carter is going through a hitting phase. One child at his daycare hits and kicks when she doesn't get her way, and so Carter is picking up on it. Fantastic! Now, Carter is petting everything (including mom and dad) and saying "Nice". Maybe he will start being "nice" to the kids at daycare when he doesn't get his way :). February 1, 2009. April 11, 2009. Over our Spring Break, we wanted to take Carter to Sea World. However, when we got close to the theme park, it took over ONE HOUR to drive half a mile, and we never even made it to the entrance. We could only imagine the amount of people that would be in the park that day, so we nixed the idea and headed to Gatorland. Bridge, we count how many alligators we see in the lake and on shore. July 2, 2009. Random Pictures from the Past Few Months. Being mischievous on the fireplace. All dressed up to go to the boat. Granddaddy bought these shoes before Carter was born, so we squeezed his chubby feet in the one time. We took a vacation to Cedar Key a few weeks ago. Here are the pictures from there. Playing at the beach. Digging for treasure at Manatee Springs. Watching the sunset and throwing rocks into the water. Taking a walk through the nature trail in 105 degree heat! Hence the life jacket.

September 10, 2009. Carter turns 2 on the 22nd. We are planning just a family party with his new favorite show as the theme- "Go, Diego, Go! Wow, he is obsessed. We have had to limit his Diego time to one show a day or else he would sit in front of the TV the entire time when he is home. He even has a Build-a-Bear that is "Baby Jaguar" that he takes with him everywhere. Some adorable things he is doing now. Each time we drive by a McDonald's he says "There's Old McDonalds". Shamu's real name is "Shampoo".

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Which can only be resolved by me scrubbing them down with soap and water. Once I gave them a spoon, then they were a little more into the process. Unfortunately, they pull out the seeds one at a time with the spoon, and Mark's patience cant handle that. So, needless to say, Mark cleaned the pumpkins also. Maddie was very specific that she wanted circle eyes, triangle nose and a happy face. This is what she got. Dying laughing at the sad pumpkin, hilarious! 4 kids and a dog.

Thursday, March 3, 2016. Charlotte had a fantastic year at level 2. Honestly, I still can't believe how well she did, considering that she'd only started formal gymnastics a few months before starting level 2. She had 6 meets, including mock meet. She placed first place in all around in every single meet in her age division. Crazy! Now, I realize that level 3 won't be like level 2, but she worked so hard and did so well! Jan 7, 2012. The last of summer and the end of a chapter. This was my surprise waiting inside after I pulled up to the house and found the girls finishing up. What a sweet sweet surprise. What do we do with all of this cement? Write mom sweet notes for all the world to see. I really would have never guessed that they would do this. Leave it to my creative girl, Dallas. I had a stressful couple of weeks and they must have noticed, so they wanted to cheer me up. And they did! We finally found the Huge Cave.
