Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Elijah Stewart Jones (Eli) was born on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:39 PM. He weighed 6 lbs 2 oz, and he was 19.5 inches long. Monday, May 11, 2009. I finished my first full tri and i beat my goal by 1 minute! My goal was to do it under 2 hours so i was more than pleased:-) it was awesome too because my parents got to be there for the race. when i crossed the finish line i started bawling like a baby:-) there's just something so neat about accomplishing something like that. i can't wait for my next one! Just minutes before my "wave" left. Mom and i-our first mother's day together in 7 years! Next in line to go.

Friday, September 26, 2008. So today was kind of rough. i lost a teammate this week that was sort of expected but not. cheryl. Was diagnosed in her later years with muscular dystrophy. For 10 weeks now, she has been back and forth between the hospital and a rehab center. she was doing so much better that when she went into the hospital and we had such great hopes for her getting better, but god had different plans for cheryl. I am still cancer free. no evidence of disease (NED) and fully recovered from last year. Otherwise, life goes on. It has too or you just get sucked in deeper into the cancer abyss.
