The town has an active Bike Path Committee that meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at Town Hall 7:30 PM. The town also has an active Friends group that promotes the bike path and sponsors fundraisers. (Address: PO Box 1336 Mattapoisett, MA 02739). This portion is currently approaching the permitting phase.
