Truck-Cat Finished (for now). Tags: Kyosho Blizzard EV. You can spend forever adding details to a model, and I will be detailing this one, as the opportunities present themselves. But for now, it’s finished. This, of course, means that I took too many pictures. All outdoor shots! It was nearing dusk, when I took these pictures, but there was still enough light to make the truck’s lights pretty much pointless. Still, I turned them on, for the pictures. Response to “Truck-Cat Finished (for now)”.

Sanity is for the weak. The blog is about stuff. sometimes it isn't though. September 20, 2010. This week I’m endeavouring to practice more artsy stuff. Mostly figure drawing. Drawing is something I’ve mentioned on this blog before, and it’s something I’d absolutely love to do well enough to turn into a career, but lack any talent whatsoever. And seeing that lack of talent on paper is really really disheartening. So yeah, I have to prepare for failure, but still at least try. My Comics Pull List. I have ...

Addicted to Plastic: GI Joe 25th Anniversary Original 13: Flash
http://addictedtoplastic.blogspot.com/2009/08/gi-joe-25th-anniversary-original-13_22.html
GI Joe 25th Anniversary Original 13: Flash. Oven mitt pads over his uniform. The other Joes were carrying carbines while this guy was packin' HEAT. His card art. Suggested to me that Flash was the guy the other Joes called when it was time to bring the pain. And his codename."Flash".is there a better name for a guy who is the team laser rifle expert? I think that what I always found interesting about Flash was that, at least according to the card art, Flash looked to be easily the most sci-fi. Action Fig...

Millennium Falcon Month, Day 4: Taco Bell. But I have one and you don't, so there. Millennium Falcon Month, Day 3: Burger King. Yep You read that right. Burger King. I enjoy this little version of the Falcon just because it's such a different and neat little take on the ship. Millennium Falcon Month, Day 2: Titanium. Galoob...

Addicted to Plastic: GI Joe 25th Anniversary Original 13: Breaker
http://addictedtoplastic.blogspot.com/2009/08/gi-joe-25th-anniversary-original-13.html
GI Joe 25th Anniversary Original 13: Breaker. I have said before that life in the Heavyarms household was rarely stimulated by television, so I didn't have the exposure that most other boys my age had to Transformers and GI Joe, namely, those 30 minute toy commercials claiming to be afternoon cartoons. To date, I have seen maybe. First up is Breaker, the Joe Communications specialist. Breaker's card art. The second time Breaker was included in the RAM Cycle vs Flight Pod. And my money also. GI Joe 25th A...

GI Joe 25th Anniversary Original 13: Grand Slam. Here's another Original 13 member that was originally released as a vehicle driver. Well, actually he was released with the Heavy Artillery Laser. HAL), so I guess he wasn't really a "driver." Except for a different head, the Grand Slam figure released in 1982 was indistinguishable from Flash, he even had the same red oven-mitt pads. In 1983 Grand Slam's pads were repainted silver and he was included with the GI Joe JUMP Jet Pack. Suggested to me that Flas...

Sure you do. You were 8 years old. You got one of those Autobot cars. "WOW! You thought. "This is cool! Maybe not a van. "And it even turns into a ROBOT! Remember later, when you took that Transformer out of the attic and you realized that awesome robot that you thought was so awesomely awesome was just a fancy brick with shoulder joints? Remember when you fell to your knees and cried "WHYYYYYYYYY? If you buy Hound and end up not liking him, you have no soul. No, really. You are literally a soull...There...
