As a choral educator with over nine years of experience working with all ages and ability levels, I believe I am attractive as a clinician for honors ensembles, church choirs, school groups and summer camps. My enthusiasm is one of my great strengths that translates well in all settings. Music technology and its use in the classroom is a huge part of who I am as a music educator. I believe that a 21st century education must use technology as a teaching tool or risk becoming irrelevant.

Composer and Arranger Special Skills. I have been composing and arranging music of a variety of styles for over 16 years, including pieces premiered by school, community and church choral ensembles. Recently, I was chosen as one of 24 composers from around the country to participate in the Lehigh University/ACDA Choral Composers' Forum. Which culminated in my piece being performed by The Princeton Singers. As part of the ACDA National Symposium on American Choral Music. Song for the Disappointed.

I believe that education serves three different purposes in the lives of students- to teach them the basics of responsible and compassionate citizenship, to give them the tools to be critical thinkers, and inspire them to become life-long learners. I personally believe that as a teacher, it is my responsibility to instill in my students a love of learning and the tools to think critically and succeed, not to fill their heads with information to access at a later date.
